Annual youth variety show

The town’s annual Youth Variety Show is set to take place on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th June, from 7.30pm at the Civic Hall.

A spokesperson for the event told the Crier, “We are once again looking for young people or young people’s groups who have a great talent for either singing, dancing, or as a magician, gymnast, comedian or even an instrumentalist.

“Whatever the talent we would like to see it recognised.

“Young people so often get a bad press for various wrong reasons, so this event is to show what young people can do – the right reasons, good press.

“The minimum age limit we are principally looking for is 6 years, although there is no maximum age limit.”

Tickets for the event are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children and are available on the door.
