Shildon MP calls public meeting

Helen Goodman MP will host a public meeting to discuss the future of health services in Shildon following concerns raised with her by local residents.

She said, “Local residents have expressed their concerns about reductions in local health services including support for new mums and babies, and there is now a further proposed merger between GP practices.

“I was keen to bring representatives from the Clinical Commissioning Group, GP practices and other health professionals together to provide the opportunity to find out about changes and hopefully to offer reassurance about the future of local health services.”

The public meeting will be at 6pm on Friday 17th November, downstairs at St John’s Church in Shildon.

To ensure everyone can be accommodated, if you would like to attend contact Helen’s Constituency Office on 01388 603075 or by email at goodmanh@parliament.uk.
