Hackworth Park rocked by Shildonbury performers

On a sunny afternoon Hackworth Park hosted the first ever Shildonbury Party in the Park on Sunday 24th August. Over 800 people attended the event, which was headlined by well-known Brit-pop group, Dodgy. The group shot to fame with hits such as ‘Good Enough’ and ‘Staying out for the Summer’. Gates opened at 2pm, with Dodgy and a number of local groups thrilling fans from 3pm until 11pm. The event featured two bands from Shildon; they were Resthouse and The Last Fakers. …
